| 1. This is now an official closed community. We ask that you comment the Mods journal and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 2. Do not join multiple communities not relating to Tainted Memories, or else you will be removed immediately within a blink of an eye. 3. We ask that you be an active, mature role-player. We do not need anyone under the age of 13 years old, due to the fact that some people at the age of 15 still do not know how to type correctly. 3. No absolute duplicates. Why? Because we do not need two Britney Spears do we? I think we can maintain with just one Britney, since she has no identical twin. 5. Do not be shy one little bit, we are very kind and friendly. So if you just recently joined the community, do not be afraid to contact anyone on AIM, we don't bite. If you sit there for hours waiting for someone to IM you, we are highly doubt they will IM you. They cannot read your mind. 6. Please, oh dear Lord, remain active! We want to see our members remain with us as long as humanly possible. You cannot just write your first entry and not update for another week til you decide you should update again. We will give you one week and three days to write your next update. If it is not seen by then, you will be gone. Oh, and this goes for AIM too. Remain active on AIM too. :) 7. This one relates to number 6. If you are having technical difficulties with your computer, your internet will go down for awhile, you are moving, on vacation, please notify us immediately. We would like a good clean reason why our role-players are not being active for awhile. 8. Please type coherently. We'd ask you to type in complete sentences, or something similar or like them. Don't type in giant paragraphs because they are so difficult to read! PlEaSe dOn'T tYpE lIkE tHiS!! N pleze dont type lyke this eythr. Just use normal spelling and type out entire words. We also ask that you use capital letters and punctuation. This is because we'd like mature role-players. 9. Please do not post surveys and quizzes. If you feel that you absolutely have to, use the cut tag. Do not post numerous pictures either. It's just common courtesy. Please do not post ads for other RPGs in the community, whether it is in the community journal or a character journal. Really, that's just rude. 10. Be realistic, please. It's roleplay, but let it have some basis in reality. For example, if your character is pregnant, please have the pregnancy last at least 2 - 3 months before the babies are born. You don't have to wait the full 9 months, but give it some time! And please do not kill your characters off. That's no fun! Note: Even though we're trying to play realistically, if your character is in a relationship in real life that you don't want to have in the game, you don't have to have it! Such as Sarah Michelle Gellar she is married to Freddie Prince Jr, she doesn't have to be in the marriage unless the writer wants to really. So it's AU with a little twist. Which we call "slash". 11. Give your entries a personal meaning. They can vary from random things to love interest to the music they are creating/writing. Don't just give us a little one-liner every day, and little excuse why you aren't writing good updates just cause you are in a more active community. 12. Do not come along and ruin a perfectly good couple's relationship. We would probably give you a fair warning to not do it next time, but if you are reported for doing it again, you will most likely give you the boot out. It is not kind to ruin a good couple. 13. Role-play your character in anyway that you wish. We call this SLASH once again, and it comes in handy alot. Role-play to your heart's content. You can be bitter, sweet, kind, cynical, anything you could possibly imagine, just make sure it doesn't get too out of hand. 14. Do not post in the main community, Tainted Memories. Only the mod should really post about new updates, sub-communities, removed people, newbies, updated friends list, and important news. If you posted before reading the rules, I am sure we can forgive your little heart. 15. No OOC coming into IC relationships. Of course you can meet the writer's that you have storylines with, but no arguments to be brought IC and OOC. Just because you and a writer do not get along does not mean your character and their character don't have to get along. 16. We are slash-friendly folk, so do not gasp or point if you run into any gay kids or lesbians. :) If you do, you will be kicked out of Tainted Memories immediately without a warning. Making fun of gay kids is extremely rude and uncalled for. Thats not the way to make any friends. :[ 17. Add the Disclaimer to your userinfo, or your mainpage. We'd appreciate it if it was your main link, but it isn't that neccesarily. It'd be really nice if you put it in your entries all the time, but then again, that is isn't neccesarily. You could also link it on your style or layout, but once again it isn't neccesarily! Just include it somewhere in your userinfo would be nice. 18. Do not bombard others with hate comments, and be anonymous. Most of us have disabled anonymous comments anyway. And if you are logged into your Caleida journal and start writing about how fake we are, we pretty much knew that since the beginning. We will just either delete your comment or just merely make fun of what a complete moron you are. 19. Have fun and please stay with Tainted Memories. :] |
