Here's the deal (and it's an unusual one at that):

kisses in an act of randomness and they somehow end up married.

I called the thing flipside because what we saw in the TV show was Tai liking Sora but Sora eventually ending up with Matt.  In this triangle, Matt likes Sora but she ends up with Tai.  Yeah, I exaggerated the summary (it's not a random act and the two just date) but I was serious about keeling over in shock.  Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, but I'm finding it quite hard to find any fanfiction with this triangle.

I think it's a rather... well... intriguing idea.  Reversing the situation with the two boys.  It would be the sort of thing you'd most likely get from a Taiora fan in denial - well, I'm pretty sure there are a few of them out there.  You'd think that more would have thought of this.  It makes for very interesting reading and I reckon it throws up more than a few queries.  My biggest question is on the characterisation of Sora.  So many people are mad at her for 'breaking Tai's heart'; if this plot is used, wouldn't she just be breaking Matt's instead?  If Kaz-chan is right and all the Taichi fangirls are mad at her, wouldn't the even bigger clique of Matt fans hate her if she 'broke his heart'?  IS THERE ANY WAY THIS GIRL CAN ESCAPE UNSCATHED???

Besides, if she got together with Jyou then the Jyoumi fans'd be all over her.

I don't think so; they always seemed like a pretty reasonable lot to me.
