Gigantic spiders in Rockefeller Center.  No, it's not the come-on for a summer sci-fi film.  From Thursday through Labor Day weekend, the pedestrian walkway where the famous Christmas tree stands will be occupied by three huge spiders.  But these creatures - one of them 34-feet tall - are in the service of art.
