The plan:

Thursday:

The get-together doesn’t actually start until Friday, but those who want an extra day of skiing are welcome to come a day early. Can’t guarantee prompt pick-up from the airport, and you’ll probably have to ride the bus to the resort (although I might go to), unless you rent a car. It’s possible that we also might put you to work when you’re at the house J. Talk to me before you actually make any plans like this.

Friday:

Show up on Friday night. We can pick you up from the airport if you need a ride. Please let me know in advance, so I can figure out the best times to make airport runs NOTE: If you can arrive before 6pm, that would be FANTASTIC, it makes my life a lot easier. If you’re flying in on a buddy pass, if you can email me possible/probable times and you cell number and keep in contact with me the day of  to let me know status that would be great. If you arrive early enough, we can generally get you discounted ski rentals, but I cannot guarantee it, and you have to arrive in time to make it before the shops close on Friday night. We’ll have food and we can play games and it will be fun.

Saturday:

SKIING/SNOWBOARDING!!!!!! Wake up early. We’ll probably have sandwich supplies available if you don’t want to pay resort food prices (trust me, you don’t, it’s definitely not that good.) Leave the house at 8:00 so that we can make a stop to buy lift tickets for anyone that doesn’t have them and get up to the resort early enough that hopefully those who still need to rent can before the lifts open. Ski/board….alllll day. After, head back to the house. The evening we can all decide what we want to do. Generally in the past we have all gone to the Rec Center for swimming/ice skating/wallyball/basketball/running/whatever. In the past it has always been a free anniversary day, so hopefully it will be again, otherwise I think it’s $4. We’ll have dinner and stuff too.

NOTE ON LIFT PRICES: Anyone that can send me a check for $37 before October 31st, I can guarantee a lift ticket for that price. After that, they’ll be first come, first serve until we run out, because we have to buy them ahead of time. Everyone else will have to pay the $48 valley price, (sorry, but I’ve been screwed over before.) If you send a check and don’t show, I’ll try to sell your ticket to someone else if they need it, but can’t guarantee you’ll get the money back. Send Checks to: Zach Zimmerli, 1613 Michigan Ave, Boise, ID 83706 (My address, I’m organizing the GTG from a distance)

Sunday:

We’ll have meeting at our house, and lunch afterwards with our meeting and workers. The afternoon is do as you please. There will be a sing for those who wish to participate; otherwise we’ve got lots to do at the house, like ping pong, pool, air hockey, foosball, basketball, hot tub, and more. Dinner is usually light, soup or something, but there’s plenty of food. Don’t worry.

Monday:

The sad day, time to go home. Anyone with a late flight can go up ski/boarding again if they wish. Morning flights are best for us to get you to the airport, as I’ve got to head out to get back to Boise for school the next day. Anyone coming from Boise that wants to fly in and ride back, I’ve got two seats left at the moment, and there will probably be more people driving.

What to Bring:

  • Skis/board if you’ve got them

  • Warm Clothes/Ski Gear

  • Swim Suit

  • Bible/Hymn Book
