My Opinion of Ichizen:
He seemed to be somewhat cold towards his friends. Like Tezuka, Ichizen had a lot of charisma that drew a lot of people (especially girls) towards him.
Being a prodigy, Ichizen had the ability to learn fast and use them to defeat most of his opponents. So far he had lost to Tezuka and Nanjiroh, the captain and his father respectively.
Being the star of the series, it can be considered surprising that Takeshi Konomi (author) has made him a superb tennis player from the start. Most comics often starts out the main star as being the ignorant one and improve as the series goes.
A lot of my friends feel that Ryoma like Sakuno, but I cannot see the relationship. Somehow, I feel that Ryoma treats Sakuno well because she is a girl...
