Dr. Wakeman muses that they were close to figuring out the organic transmitter. The bodies and all other evidence is missing, except for the artifact. Their funding is pulled, they begin talking about Tom and Becky, Eric wants to know what changed Tom's mind.

Jacob is pitching to his daughter and comes down with a headache. He gives the "lone star" to Lisa.
Bakersfield March 1, 1981
Charlie is left alone in the car during a wind storm at a pizza place. Mom comes back to the car with the pizza and Charlie's gone. He comes back, with an implant behind his ear.

Nina Thompson meets Lisa, we find out that Danny and Carol are married.
Nina brings tampons to Lisa since she's having her first period.
Lisa is walking the dog, the dog barks at the forest. When her flashlight burns out, the dog runs to the forest. Her flashlight comes back on to see the circus truck and familiar carnival man that has haunted her family for years.

Tom Clarke is autographing his latest book when Eric shows up to inquire about Becky. Tom is upset by this. Eric confronts him about what made him change his mind.
Los Altos - February 16, 1986
Carol shows up and discusses Jacob. Lisa is trying to find Tom Clarke.
Office of Science and Technology - 1992
Eric and Chet meet. They listen to some Space Shuttle conversation and note a missing 2.5 hours of missing time. Chet is excited about a nuclear reactor that will protect the US from nuclear weapons. They met to gain an understanding of "what's up there". Chet is excited, "we are back!"
Eric is obsessed with Tom, doesn't want a part of the project, follows a lead in Los Altos.
Milwaukee, Wisconsin - August 28, 1992
Charlie is saying goodbye to Jesse. After thirteen years of not talking. "They are coming for you!"
Los Altos - September 2, 1992
Eric is posing as a census taker and shakes Lisa's hand. Danny mentions Jacob (huh? My notes are fuzzy here). Lisa calls Tom, Tom explains the danger of Eric Crawford.
Madison Wisconsin - September 3, 1992
Charlie stops playing ball, walks through an alley and sees the circus truck at the end of the alley. Charlie is abducted.
Seattle, Washington - September 5, 1992
Lisa has an apartment, Tom and Lisa discuss Eric and Jacob. Their code for trouble: take out a classified advertisement in the national edition of the New York Times: "Drummer seeks a gig with a Texas country band".
Milwaukee - September 5, 1992
Jesse dies. Amelia and Charlie discuss grandfather and father. We learn that Charlie is a teacher. They start looking at pictures of Jesse as a child, and Charlie sees the carnival truck and the driver. Charlie tells his mother that he's been abducted, and he's not going out without a fight.
Maine - September 5, 1992
Mary and mom are talking about Grandpa Crawford, Mary is trying to convince mom to leave dad.
Ellsworth, ME - September 6, 1992
Eric shows up at Chet's office. Chet explains that they now have the ability to track implants. They track down a patient and explain that a dentist can find him. Eric is excited about finding one person.
September 8, 1992
Lisa is in a rock band. After rehearsal, the band leader follows her home. His eyes turn black and she is abducted.
Madison September 8, 1992
Charlie is looking at the picture and then his fire crackles. He is abducted
We see Lisa and Charlie aboard the craft in their birthday suits, gettin it on in zero gravity.
Madison - October 20, 1992
Charlie is reading a book by Tom Clarke, when a knock comes at the door. The principal at the school he works at wants him to come back to work. Charlie confides his experiences, though the principal is not a believer.
Ellsworth AFB - October 20, 1992
We learn that the implant is an electronic version of what the aliens have biologically.
Seattle - October 20, 1992
Lisa leaves a rock club and is followed by two people. Dr. Wakeman cuts her off in his car. A UFO pulls her up before Chet and Eric can abduct her.
Lisa is a little freaked out, she places a personal ad in the National Edition of the New York Times...

Lisa is still playing drums. [Name illegible] and Nina show up to visit, they have no idea who the father is. Lisa talks about her past and has flashbacks to Charlie.

Lisa is delivering Allie. There are complications in the delivery that coincide with the alien spacecraft droppling to earth. They slow down, then hover. Lisa is almost done with she flatlines. There are bright lights in the room, the ships disappear and she recovers. Her baby is stabilized.

During this time, Charlie loses his implant in a nosebleed.

Mary and Eric are discussing the Artifact. Mary is astonished that it's all true. Dr. Wakeman hasn't seen the artifact. Eric asks Mary to join the program.
Cut to Chet and Mary gettin it on. He's been wanting that since she was 13. They discuss Lisa and Allie afterwards.
November 2, 1996
Allie, Lisa, and Nina are at the aquarium, looking at Dolphins, when Allie becomes the center of a formation made by the dolphins.
