Ahh, to find out some new information about the show! You wish! It's nothing we couldn't figure out anyways.
Basically, they told us that they plan on telling an alternate view of history, while keeping with status quo about certain events. Example: The Roswell incident involved both a UFO and a weather balloon, except the UFO hit the weather balloon. Then we get both newspaper headlines.
We're told the Aliens will look like everybody's expectation, but they're adding a twist: you'll see pupils. As a fan of special effects, I can't wait to see an alien's eyes moving around in its head!
Speaking of special effects, we should get some nice eye-candy seeing the "Foo Fighters" combined with some WWII fighter action. They took an actual WWII spy photo over Nazi Germany and used that as the backdrop. Their promise: to make you feel like you're in a 1944 WWII drama.
One other thing: They're using lights from the period they're shooting. Example: in the 1940s and 1950s portions of the story, they're using the giant tungsten lighting, so it will look like they filmed the movie in that period.
