Chapter Two
"Oh man, I'm tired," Aurora said plopping down at the table beside Serena. Serena laughed, "It's only 10 o'clock. I think ur getting old."  "Yes I am becoming old and decrepped," Aurora smiled, "I'm gonna go get a drink. Do you want anything?"  "A Pepsi sounds good."  "A Pepsi? That's it? Come on, have a little fun," Aurora joked.  So, she went up to the bar to get the drinks, "Can I have a Bailey's and a Pepsi please"  "Hey Ror, babe. How've you been?" It was her ex-boyfriend who was, of course, drunk as hell.  Aurora rolled her eyes, "What do you want Chris?"  "A night of hot sex would cure all my woes."  She turned to him, "I'm sorry to disappoint you but maybe you'd have more luck if you searched the corner."  "Ouch! That hurt me babe. Don't you know I still love you?" "You did a good job of showing it didn't you? You know, beating me, cheating on me, and trying to sleep with my best friend doesn't help the relationship," she said coldly.  "Hey, come on babe. Give me a break, I love you. Please believe me?" Chris begged.  "How do you expect me to believe you when every time we get back together you continue it. I'm sorry Chris, but it's over. No, leave me alone before I kick your ass!" she warned. He smiled, "You always were a tough little one. That's what I liked about you."  "Chris, I would tell you to fuck off, but knowing you, it's already been done atleast once tonight," she shot back.  "Oh come on babe. You know it's true. I'd never do anything to hurt you."  "How many times have you tried that one on me now?"   Aurora turned her back on him, "If you say so."  "Here you go, and that's $5 please," the bartender handed her the drinks. Before Aurora had a chance to protest, Chris pulled out his wallet and then handed a $5 bill  to the bartender, "It's on me."
"Chris, go away!" she yelled very annoyed now.  "Why don't you make me?" Chris coaxed.
Aurora, who was REALLY pissed off by now, punched him in the face and then kneed him in the groin.  "Is that enough to make you?" she said before she took the drinks and went back to the table.

"So, I see Chris decided to pay you a visit. Are you going to be okay?" Serena was concerned when Aurora got back to the table. She knew what Chris had done to her, no one had ever gotten to her like that. She had finally gotten over all of the shit he put her through and Serena was wondering if she would ever date another guy again.  "Yeah, I'll be fine as long as he stays away from me for the rest of the night.

"Hey, isn't that one of the young ladie's that were working at the gym?" Glen asked when he noticed Aurora at a table. "Yeah, her name is Aurora isn't it?"  "Why don't you go talk to her? You seemed to like her at the gym. I'm sure she'd be all over you."  "I don't want to be rude or anything. She's with a friend and I don't want to bother her," his heart sank when a guy sat down at the table with her, "and besides, she already has a boyfriend."  "Not by the looks of it," Glen smiled as he watched her slap him across the face. As soon as the guy reached his hand back to hit her, Mark was on his way in that direction.

Aurora punched Chris in the face before he could even come close to hitting her. He back handed her, and hard. She stumble back a bit but then caught her balance and punched him a couple more times before she grabbed him by the shirt collar and threw him into the table.  "Ow! You stupid bitch! That hurt!" he yelled. "Maybe that'll teach you a lesson! Now leave me alone." Aurora exclaimed. She turned around and ran into someone. "I'm sorry. I..." she stopped mid-sentence. It was Mark.  "Are you okay?" he asked with a look of concern on her face.  "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks."  Chris got up, "Oh come on Aurora. Don't make me beg."  "Go ahead and beg. It won't help you any." she told him.     "You are such a  stupid bitch!" he exclaimed. This ticked off Mark, he stepped in front of Aurora, "You will treat her with respect or I will kick your ass."   "Oh yeah," Chris stopped dead when he saw the look on Marks face. "Yeah, okay." With that he turned around and left.   "Thanks, I appreciate it. Why don't you sit with my friend and I at our table?" Aurora turned around and frowned. "Or atleast, what's left of it."  "I'd love to," he laughed. Glen came up behind him, "Mark, are you hitting on women again? Man, you are such a player."
"Glen, shut up!" he exclaimed. "Ooh, a wee bit touchy today are we?" Glen tried bugging him as much as he could. Serena rolled her eyes, "Men."   "Yes we are men. What did you think we were?" he smiled.  "We thought you were mean, viscous animals," she joked.    "Come on Ser. Be nice. You too Glen!" Aurora scolded. "Oh man. You got told!" Mark exclaimed.  Aurora smiled, "I feel like going for a walk. Who wants to come with me?"  "Mark would love too," Glen smiled.  Mark gave him a look, "Of course I would."  "Okay, I'll take my car then. Is that okay with you, Ser?"  "Fine with me." So Aurora led Mark to her car.
"I thought we were going for a walk," he was a little confused.  "We are but we have to get to the place first." she smiled.
