The Past, Present, and Future Unites

*This is during Digimon 02. The digidestined already beat Ken. He's a friend to Davis and everyone else, except Yolei. The main setting is the Digi World, except when at the very end.

"Takeru, everyone's leaving us," Patamon said as he floated over Takeru's head.

"Huh? Oh, hey wait up," Takeru said as he started to run to everyone else.

"You'd ought to pay attention more," Yolei said as Takeru came to her side and stopped.

"Yeah T.A. What if an evil digimon came and took every one of us? What if Hikari got hurt," Davis said smiling.

"It's Takeru, Davis. And besides, Takeru would never let that happen," Hikari replied.

Yolei giggled.

"Um..Davis, I'm hungry. Can we eat yet," Veemon asked as he jumped in front of Davis.

Everyone sweat drops.

"Can't you even wait til we meet Ken at the beach? I mean, we told him we weren't going to eat until we met him there," Davis replied.

"I don't think everyone agreed on that Davis!" Yolei said as she popped in front of him.

"Well, I'm the leader and that's what I said," Davis replied.

"Here we go again," Cody whispered to Armadillamon.

Armadillamon giggled.

"Takeru, why does Davis and Yolei argue so much," Patamon asked curiously.

Takeru and Hikari giggled.

"Come on slow pokes. We'd better catch up to them," Gatomon said.

They both nodded and ran. Suddenly, the ground opened and the four of them fell.

"AHHHH!" Hikari yelled.

"Hikari! Give me your hand," Takeru shouted.

Takeru took hold of Hikari's hand and then wrapped his arms around her. When they landed, Hikari was on Takeru. Hikari lifted her head from Takeru's chest and noticed he was unconscious.

"Hikari, are you alright," Gatomon said as she ran up to Hikari.

Hikari nodded and hugged her.

"Takeru!" Patamon shouted.

Gatomon and Hikari turned to look.

"He's bleeding," gasped Gatomon.

Hikari picked up her bag pack and took out two pieces of cloth. She wiped the part of Takeru's head that was bleeding with one cloth, and bandaged it with the other one. Takeru slowly came to.

"Huh? What happened," Takeru said as he sat up.

"You hit the ground," Patamon replied.

"Takeru, I think we're lost. I've never seen this place before," Hikari said as she looked around. "And my D-3 hasn't picked up Davis, Yolei, or Cody yet."

Takeru looked around carefully and took out his D-3. He looked into the blank screen for several seconds.

"Hikari, we have to find the others. Come on, let's go," Takeru said as he shot up into a standing position.

"But Takeru, we're lost. We don't even know which way to go," Hikari replied.

"Something's not right. Come on, we have to go," Takeru said. He grabbed Hikari's hand and ran.

They ran out of the thick forest and into a desert.

"Ahh! Hikari help," Gatomon shouted.

"Takeru!" Patamon yelled.

Takeru and Hikari stopped running and turned to their digimons.

"Patamon!!"

"Gatomon!!"

Patamon and Gatomon were pounding on an invisible barrier, separating the forest and desert. Suddenly, a large shadowy pair of arms came and grabbed both of them.

"Gatomon, no," Hikari shouted as she ran a few steps toward the forest.

"Patamon," Takeru shouted as he ran into the barrier. He hit the barrier and fell back.

"Help us!" Gatomon yelled. With that, the two digimons disappeared into the forest.

Hikari ran up to Takeru and started crying. Takeru stood up and hugged her.

"It's okay Hikari. We'll find them soon," he said as he wiped her tears away.

(GROWLING)

"Huh?" Hikari and Takeru said.

They both turned around and found themselves looking at Wargreymon.

"War...Wargreymon," Hikari mumbled.

"Ah, the child of Light and Hope. The two strongest of them all, I heard," came a voice from behind Wargreymon.

"Who's there," Takeru shouted as he stood in front of Hikari in case anything happened.

"Don't tell me you've already forgotten me," the voice replied. The boy came out from behind Wargreymon.

"But...it can't be," Takeru said

"T..Tai," Hikari whispered.

"Wait, this isn't him. It just can't be him. It's physically impossible," Takeru said with doubt.

"What's so impossible? I'm 11 and your 11, got a problem? Enough talking, I will get rid of you two now, while I'm still in the future. The other two will never get to me. Wargreymon, attack," Tai shouted.

Wargreymon stepped forward once.

"Takeru, what are we going to do," Hikari whispered.

Wargreymon jumped into the air.

"Hikari, let's go," Takeru shouted as he grabbed her hand. They ran to their left.

"Terra Force!"

Wargreymon's power flew in front of Takeru, making him stop. Takeru gripped onto Hikari's hand harder and ran in a different direction.

Tai was laughing in the back. "How entertaining!"

Hikari tripped over a log and fell. "Ah! Takeru."

Takeru stopped and helped her up. "Are you okay Hikari?"

She nodded.

"It's time for your end," Wargreymon said as he stood in front of them. He got in a fighting position.

Takeru turned to face Wargreymon.

"Hikari listen to me, I want you to go find Patamon and Gatomon without me," Takeru said.

"Takeru, but," Hikari started.

"Go!" Takeru shouted.

Hikari turned to run, but Wargreymon appeared in front of her.

"Huh?" Takeru mumbled as he turned to see Wargreymon in front of Hikari.

"Mega Claw!"

"Hikari, watch it!" yelled Takeru. "Ahhh!"

One of Wargreymon's claws had pierced right through Takeru's right arm. Hikari hit the floor and quickly looked up at Takeru.

"Takeru!" Hikari shouted as she sprang up into a sitting position.

"Hikari...stay back," Takeru said.

Takeru gripped tightly on his bleeding arm.

"Please Wargreymon, I don't have all day you know. Hurry up a little," Tai shouted.

"Yes Tai," Wargreymon answered.

"Let's see, get Takeru first. They say Hope is what gives Light strength," shouted Tai again.

Wargreymon nodded.

Hikari ran off to the side and waited for Takeru.

"Takeru, please be careful, otherwise, I'd never forgive myself for leaving your side," Hikari whispered.

Wargreymon swung his claws at Takeru. Takeru quickly moved to the right, but got his left arm cut. Takeru winced.

"I don't want to fight him. He's Tai, I can't fight him. I have to try talking to him. I hope that works," Takeru whispered.

"Metal Wolf Claw!"

"WHAT?!" Tai yelled angrily as Wargreymon flew back.

"Terra Force!"

"How'd you fools get here," yelled Tai even more angry than before.

Hikari and Takeru turned to the direction where the attacks came from. Metalgarurumon walked out with someone on his back.

"Matt," Takeru shouted happily.

"Thought you could get rid of us eh? You're going down Sam and your Darkwargreymon to.  You've lost and you know it. This future isn't yours," Matt shouted.

"You got that right! And you dare use my cute face," came another voice from inside the forest.

Patamon and Gatomon came running out.

"Takeru!"

"Hikari!"

"Patamon!"

"Gatomon!"

Another Wargreymon came out from the forest with another Tai.

"Huh? They are all too young to be anyone from this time. And why do they call this the future," Takeru whispered.

"Hey Matt, leave this to Wargreymon and I. If he wants to be me, I'll show him my real self," Tai shouted with a grin.

"Sure," Matt replied and jumped off of Metalgarurumon.

"Darkwargreymon, get rid of these flies immediately. I'm growing impatient," Sam roared.

Darkwargreymon stood up. Tai and Wargreymon walked onto the desert ground and stopped as they reached Takeru.

"Takeru, you'd better get to Matt and Hikari quick," Tai said with a smile.

Takeru nodded and headed towards them.

"Alright Wargreymon, let's show them what we're made of," shouted Tai.

Wargreymon and Darkwargreymon jumped into the air.

"Terra Force!"

"Terra Force!"

Both attacks collided and exploded. Wargreymon covered his eyes.

"Mega Claw!"

Darkwargreymon slashed at Wargreymon and he hit the floor. Wargreymon was beaten.

"No! Wargreymon," whispered Tai.

"Metalgarurumon, you're up," Matt shouted.

"Right!"

"So, you think you can beat me too? Darkwargreymon," ordered Sam laughing.

"Terra Force!'

"Metal Wolf Claw!"    "Tai, get over here. Hurry," shouted Matt.

Tai nodded and ran with Koromon in his arms.

"Mega Claw!"

"...(growling)...Giga Missile!"

"Be careful Metalgarurumon," shouted Matt.

Metalgarurumon and Darkwargreymon slashed at each other in mid air.

"He did it," Matt shouted happily.

;They both landed.

"Think again," Sam roared through the dust. He laughed even harder.

	The dust disappeared. Metalgarurumon fell to the floor and dedigivolved back to Tsunomon.

"Tsunomon, no," Matt shouted as he ran over to his fallen friend.

"Haahaahaa...I told you I was unbeatable," Sam roared happily.

"I can't take it anymore! Patamon," Takeru shouted angrily.

Patamon nodded.

"Patamon digivolve to Angemon!"

"You to Gatomon," Hikari said.

"Gatomon digivolve to Angewomon!"

Both of them flew off followed by Takeru and Hikari.

"Ha! You think you can beat Darkwargreymon, his level is way higher than yours. you dumb angels are going down to," Sam shouted with a wicked smile.

"Terre Force!"

"Angel shield," Angemon and Angewomon shouted together.

"What?!" roared Sam angrily.

"Mega..."

"Heaven's Charm!"

Darkwargreymon and Sam stopped moving. There was a flash of light between Angemon and Angewomon. When the light died down, a boy (about 8 years old) and a little Angemon-like digimon appeared.

"Alright Chibiangemon, dad told us that we have to use hope. Come on, we can save the past. Use Angel Explosion," the boy shouted.

Chibiangemon flew up and stood next to Angemon and Angewomon. He looked at both of them. They nodded.

"Hand of Fate!"

"Celestial Arrow!"

When the two powers combined, Chibiangemon threw the blue rag around his arm and shouted, "Angel Explosion!"

A flash of light covered everyone.

"No! This can't be happening to me. I'm invincible," Sam shouted as Darkwargreymon disappeared. "AHHHHHH!"

The light wrapped around Sam and everyone vanished except for Takeru, Hikari, Angemon, and Angewomon.

"Thanks Takeru, Hikari," echoed Matt and Tai's voices.

When the light disappeared, Angemon and Angewomon had dedigivolved back into Patamon and Gatomon.

"Patamon! You're okay," Takeru shouted. "Uhh......" Takeru fainted, for he had lost too much blood.

"Takeru," shouted Hikari, Patamon, and Gatomon. Hikari caught Takeru's falling body.

Takeru's D-3 fell out of his pocket. Suddenly, both Hikari and Takeru's D-3 started to glow.

"Gatomon, what's happening," shouted Hikari.

The green and pink light wrapped around all four of them.

(The Real World)

"Davis, how could you lose Hikari and Takeru," shouted Tai angrily. "I trusted you guys to go and return together!"

"Calm yourself Tai," Izzy whispered.

"Tai, I know that as long as Hikari's with Takeru, she won't get hurt. He'd die first," Matt said.

Everyone turned to Matt. Suddenly, there was a greenish pink glow. When the light disappeared, Hikari, Gatomon, Patamon, and Takeru appeared. Takeru was in Hikari's arm covered in blood and Hikari was crying.

"Hikari! Takeru!" Tai shouted.

"Oh my God," Yolei whispered.

"Takeru," whispered Cody.

"Come on, we have to get him to a hospital," Izzy shouted. "You can give us the details later Hikari."

~ ~ ~ ~ ~One Week Later~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

(Obadiah Hospital)

Takeru sat up from the hospital's bed.

"Takeru, you're up," Hikari said smiling as she replaced the flowers in the vase by his bed.

"Hikari," Takeru said in a kind of confused voice.

She sat down next to him and began to cry.

"Oh Takeru, you scared me. I thought I'd never be able to say thank you to you. Takeru, I...I love you. I've loved you since the beginning, but I just couldn't tell you. I was afraid you'd turn me down, but when I almost lost you, I prayed that I could see your smile once more and tell you how I felt," Hikari sobbed.

Takeru hugged her tightly and smiled.

"I've felt the same way to. For three years, I was afraid to tell you how I felt because I thought you'd just turn me down and run into Davis's arms," Takeru said quietly. "I love you Hikari."

Hikari looked up into hi eyes.

"I would never Takeru. You're the only one for me. You'll always be the only one," Hikari whispered and hugged him back.

He widened his smile and kissed her on the forehead.

(Outside Takeru's hospital room)

Davis is looking into the room through the window.

"Well, I knew I lost already, a long time ago. I just told myself, she wants you Davis, she wants you not him. I'm such an idiot," Davis said as he walked towards the exit.

"Poor guy, I feel sorry for him," said Tai looking in the direction Davis had just left.

"Don't worry Tai. He'll find his mate someday to," Sora replied as she took his hand.

They looked into the window and smiled.

(Inside Takeru's Hospital room)

"I'll never let anyone hurt you Hikari," Takeru said as they broke their hug.

"Thank you," Hikari smiled back.

So, did you like it? Please tell me since this is my first Takari fanfic. Anyway, I hope you did. I mixed all of the time dimensions, past, present, and future because I thought it would be better, hope I didn't confuse no one. Oh yeah, the little boy is supposed to be Takeru and Hikari's kid from the future. His digimon is (of course) the child of Angemon and Angewomon. He has both crests/mentals of light and hope.
