AERA has issued new rules that affect SIG membership and recruitment. In order to be counted as a member of the Talent Development SIG, you must pay your SIG fees at the same time that you renew your AERA membership.

So, please check the Talent Development SIG box when you complete your AERA membership application.

There has been much debate between a group of vocal SIG chairs and AERA over how to resolve the difficulties that have resulted from the revised membership rules. Most recently AERA seems to have become more responsive to our needs. We will have to wait and see what develops. Watch this page for updates.
