Tales of the City Press Kit

I was lucky enough to find a Tales of the City press kit through the online auction house Ebay courtesy of a generous *bidder, who sold it to me after he had won it. The kit contains six 8 x 10" photographs, production notes, character profiles, cast biographies and episode synopses, within a colour folder decorated with colour photograph's. I have placed the photo's contained here for you to see, along with scans of the back and front of the folder.

Marcus D'Amico

There is very little information on Marcus D'Amico, as far as anyone can find out, his career seems to be quite limited to a few television guest appearances and bit parts in movies, and Theatre work. In the Press Kit above there was very little information on Marcus, but what was there i have copied for you below. I hope it is of help to those interested.

MARCUS D'AMICO (Michael Tolliver) - D'Amico is best known for his performance as Louis in the London production of ANGELS IN AMERICA last year (1993), for which he was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor.

He has appeared in such films as Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket", "Superman II" "The Lost Weekend O' Despair" and "The Silent Twins". His list of Theatre work includes THE BOYS NEXT DOOR, THE REAL WORLD?, BURNING YOUTH, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, OLIVER, The UK national tour of ROMEO AND JULIET, and on the Los Angeles stage productions of A CHORUS LINE, TO SIR WITH LOVE and THE STERILE CUCKOO.

Marcus' television credits include Channel 4's DROP THE DEAD DONKEY, TRAINER, BOON, OUT OF ORDER, LAST SUMMER'S CHILD, S.W.A.L.K and THE SQUARE LEOPARD.
