A teen-romance for the romantic of heart. A person who likes to read romance novels may want to check this work out. The plot might be simple and as teenage romance usually goes but the descriptions and writing style of the author is what attracted plenty of readers to this fic.

colcacola-lover: The kitsune plays the romantic hero although sometimes appear to be more of a ‘rude’ knight in shining armor. I like the fact that the author kept Rukawa in his ‘dead-pan’ façade despite the ‘un-Rukawa-like’ thoughts running in his head. In a way is still in character externally but out-of-character internally. Zero: Not the typical Rukawa portrayal you’d usually find. He’s plenty more talkative and kind of hentai too. What we find typical Rukawa-ness is his lack of communications skill, though he does talk a lot more in this fic. He still cannot express himself or his feelings for the ‘damsel’ very well. He also puts on that stoic mask in public as expected of Rukawa.

Cocacola_lover : The typical teen romance involving Kaede Rukawa. Rukawa’s love interest is a new classmate as most authors in the romance genre typically set things up. What makes the difference is the author’s style of telling the story as well as small details in the plot. Despite heavy descriptiveness of this work it’s quite easy to read. Although not for those who have an aversion for intense .. uhhh .. ‘physical descriptions’ (I don’t know how else to put it). Are you in the mood for a teen romance fic? Then this is a work you’ve got to check out. Zero: The plot is quite typical for a Rukawa-OC romance fic. Yes we can tell that Rukawa and the girl will end up together but it’s the process on how to get there that is important. Angel Fire has a distinctive writing style that appeals to the type who goes for romantic novels. She definitely is one of the best writers I’ve encountered writing-style wise. This being the author’s first fic one can say it’s a good start. However a writer is also judged by the plot. Although most stories do have a simple plot what makes them great is the unpredictable twists or sub-plots, all from which is somewhat lacking in this work. Humour-wise there are funny moments but nothing that will make you fall off the chair laughing. Then again Humour is merely the secondary genre and the primary one is romance. One may find oneself rooting for the happy couple to get together. When one puts aside the hentai stuff, the couple’s small gestures might pull some heart strings all in all, a good ingredient for romance.
