History of this Site

Once upon a time, at the crack of dawn, 'the thing' lurking around ff.net's category 801 decides to strike and sent abuse reports here and there. People from the north, south, east and west were shocked at this new low down tactic and more so that ff.net listened to the thing's complaints and ignore authors' complaints on the thing's activities for the past month or so.

A small group of authors belonging to the SD Humor Guild discuss this development. Eliar's pissed, White Meteor's freaked (*lol* sorry I just had to put that in), rj's giddy with happiness (due to the knowledge that the irritating thing did read her quips and was pissed enough to include her in the short list of victims), and dinette was the only sane voice of reason in this group.

Later everyone agreed that ff.net is too big and thus cannot prevent things like 'the thing's rampage' from happening. Dinette came up with the idea that they should start their own site where things will be monitored and stuff like 'the thing' won't happen. However there's the constraints of MB space, time, etc.

Meanwhile, the chaos continues in ff.net. "The Critics" disgusted with this new development decides to leave ff.net. The controversial Angel Fire was being bombarded with baseless accusations, being fed up, she also decides to leave ff.net. rj invited them to join her in this planned website.

The website in its primitive form named "Tales On and Off the Court" was created on May 2, 2003.

Returning to the SD Humor Guild, rj-chan announced that she initialized the plan and invited dinette who actually have real web design knowledge to join her. Dinette improved the webpage and renamed it "Tales On and Off Court" and gives it to us in the form as you see it today. And this is the story behind this site.

We wish to thank 'the thing' for being the moving force behind all of this *laughs*
