Syndrome
A disease that sweeps through the world as if it knows No guilt -No pain - No heartache - No Love
I ache to my very core, for those who lose
Ultimately who doesn't when involved with this... A.I.D.S
To watch someone die of such a cruel, degrading disease would make me surely die myself
I am so afraid to be struck down
It scares me more than any one thing
To be absolutely powerless...
No Cure, No vaccine, No mercy on anyone who steps in it's path
Yet I feel such a passion towards this thing called A.I.D.S
Maybe it is because it is so devastating and heartwrenching
Unexplainable to me
But when I see those images on TV
I feel in my heart I need to help
Yet all I can seem to do is cry
Cry for those helpless individuals and lost souls

Try to hold your head up high
Be proud of who you are
For because your spirit left you
Does not mean that it is dead
Look harder at yourself... you'll see it deep inside
Set that mirror aside
Close your eyes... and let it thrive
