Cafe's were meant for relaxing with a beverage and people watching. Chamonix has a few that are just right for that. I tested out several, but only to get a feel for town. I'm always trying to help you out by testing out all the options so you don't have too! "There are many women who enjoy the shopping in France. I, for one, enjoy the watching the women who shop." |

So many cafe's, which one to choose. All with great food and lousy beer lists. Then again, this is the land of fermented grape juice! Let's keep drinking - I mean walking around town!!! |

I am
happy to report, that my palate has since recovered from the burning pain
of desire for more. France indeed has amazing food and it
is pretty darn cheap over there too! The week so far had been all
about wine, cheese, cheese and wine. (Oh
yeah..., and rock climbing and hiking and visiting old frineds and touring
thw Swiss country side and driving over high mountain passes, but...)
I can completely understand why the French have blown up McDonalds restaurants
over there. with food like this you see things differently.
