Zermatt and the Matterhorn.
	The picture perfect day for a mountain that is truly picture perfect.

Recessional moraine and hanging glaciers.
	More peaks looming up everywhere and waterfalls cascading down the hanging valleys.
A very impressive looking mountain.  My early scoffs at the ease of climbing it (basic route is left ridgeline) were recanted!  Note the morainic till deposits
	Happy hikers.
Every turn in the trail gives a new perspective.

The essentials:  cheese, bread, lunch meats, swiss army knife, map, water.  Now if we could only find someplace interesting to eat it all.  Hmmmmm...
