The boys of Boulder thought a good old fashioned road trip was in order, so five of us piled in somebody's Bronco and hit hte road.  About three cases of beer adn one WILD ride later ( I drove - sober) we made it.  The skiing was spring-like in midwinter!  Great stuff but the tram was down.  No Corbett's Couloir.  Lots of rocks to catch air off of as well!!  THAT is what makes jackson epic anyway, steep shit and big air!  This pic doesn't quite capture the steepness or the air I wound up taking ... oh well!

This was actually on a "business trip."  I offered to stay the weekend over at a friends house, get teh cheap airfare for the Saturday night stay and ski my brains out!!  They agreed ... he he he.  Got about 8"+ first day and blue skies after that.  Legs gave out long before my will to ski ever did! 

Astrid offered her place and I got the ticket!  To bad it was the heaviest snow winter in years and all the avalanches closed every ski area.  Only got in 1.5 days.  Amazing time anyway!

A great day to ski uninterupted turns for a few thousand feet!  Telluride had closed for the season but we were still in the mood.

Gotta love long lunch breaks on the SUMMER SOLSTICE!  Rugby shirts and short pants ... say no more! 

So it's not a ski shot, but the scenery is nice!  The ski down was to late in the day by about 30 minutes and had alot more slop than corn.  This same group and I skied nude once too!!  Heheheh  After this ski we went home and drank about 2 cases each!  What a day!!
