Nickie is my most normal, yet most interesting friend! She's very unlike the others, and that can be very refreshing since I'm surrounded by weirdness all day! She moved here 2nd semester 8th grade (when I didn't know her). I actually didn't get to know her until October 2000. I was unsure about her at first because she's very different from the people I usually hang out with. The biggest difference is that she is a devout, and I mean DEVOUT, Christian. I've never known anyone as serious about God as her, and that's after i spent 9 years in a Catholic school! I admire her devotion to her religion, but most of all her open-mindedness. Sometimes we do things that completely contradict her beliefs and opinions on what is right, but she is very tolerant. Except for occasional complaints about our swearing (heehee) she never tries to change us, and generally loves us for who we are. I love her for that!
Nickie is TOTALLY boy crazy! She is almost never without a crush, and she takes her crushes very seriously. She's very open with her emotions which is why it sux so bad when people hurt her (yes, I am talking about that PLAGUE who now lives in New Mexico, and will remain nameless ::cough:: Aaron ::cough::). Nickie is very organized and ambitious, and knows how to get things done and done well. Her goal is to be a teacher, a wife, and an awesome mother, and I know she's going to be fabulous at all of it! I love her very much! |
