Wow, it's already August! That means that we have about 4 more months and David and Autumn only have a month! Things are going well so far. I've started playing Pink Floyd last night with my tape player. The little belt actually fits around my big belly now! It wouldn't there for a while, but it really does now! We took pictures last night, but I left the disk at home so I guess I'll just post them tomorrow. My wonderful husband was so nice to point out that I'm getting stretch marks. Isn't he great!! I have them on my chest now, but not on my belly...yet. I'm sure they'll pop up sooner or later! Today was the first day that I became concerned about my belly button sticking out. I've never had this problem before! I wore a dress to work that's getting a little snug. I started to put a band-aid over my belly button, but figured that it wouldn't be that great of an idea. I'm sure it would go over well when I pull it off of that tender area this afternoon. |

Finally got a new belly picture up! You can go view it here. I sure have been dehydrated these past few days! I got home yesterday and finished off 1/2 gallon of skim milk by myself. The only thing that stopped me from drinking more was that we ran out! TGIF!!! I am happy that I get to sleep in for a while in the morning. I'm even more excited to see that we might get some rain. Here's a little rain dance to bring it on: As far as symptoms go, I'm in the clear. I haven't dealt with too much stuff. Even the heartburn has worn off. I did notice last night that I couldn't catch my breath. Guess I need to slow down! Clint is doing great at work. I'm doing good also. I have to come up with a scheming plan on Monday to convice the big boss that I have quite enough duties delegated to me. Of course, I've got my supervisor to back me up, but I'm sure something extra will be thrown in. That's the way it goes! |

We had a wonderful day today at the doctor's office! The baby had hiccups during the whole ultrasound. I had a little caffeine before the appointment so the baby would be more active. Guess it gave him the hiccups instead! I have more about my doctor's appointment here. As you can tell, I'm trying to change the site up a little bit. Please bear with me as a few pages are under construction. As I get more time, I'll be adding more to them. We are so excited that we're having a little boy! I sure am glad they were able to tell us today! We're jumping for joy! |

Everything is going great today. I forgot to mention that we watched "The Miracle of Birth" yesterday. Boy, was it graphic. Poor Clint was so disgusted at one particular part...he just laughed through the majority of it. It didn't look that bad, but I'm sure that seeing it is much easier than actually living through it! Well, I think my body temperature has gone up. It was so hot this morning at work that I called maintenance to have them come turn the air down. The guy got here and looked at me like I had grown another head! He said it was already at 68 and he didn't see how I was hot. Well, I invested in a little desk fan at lunch so maybe this will cool me down. |

Guess I didn't do enough convincing Monday. Next week I start with sales calls. Woopee. Clint is going to give me a few pointers. My supervisor is giving me an incentive; $5 for each one that actually makes an appt. or 30 min. off of work. I'm definitely going for the latter! The baby is doing wonderful! Kicking, kicking, kicking all the time. Last night he started kicking really hard so I played my little game with him. At one point, when I pushed on my belly, I could actually feel the baby! It really freaked me out at first, but after I poked and prodded a little bit, he moved. It was too neat! I think I was feeling of an arm, because it was close to my belly button and it wasn't very big. It was almost like I was high-fiving Carson! Well, we have our nursery theme picked out already. You can view it here. I absolutely love it! The bedding is too expensive, so we're going to stick with the color scheme and possibly use solid colors for the bedding. I'll probably get the wall border since it's not as expensive. Let us know what you think! |

Great news! Clint heard back from the lender and we were approved for a 100% loan. This means that we'll hopefully be in a house sooner than what we thought! I can't wait to start looking again! Carson is doing well today. He sure is kicking A LOT! I don't know if he is rebelling against the Jambalaya I had for lunch or what, but boy do I feel like My dad came and stayed the night last night with us. Sure was fun to have him stay over again! He couldn't believe the size of my belly! Well, I'm about to put this desk fan to work. I'm hoping this wave of ickiness goes away soon. Maybe I should protest for "pregnant days" at work. You get sick days and vacation days...why can't you get a day where you just don't feel good and don't feel like working?! Wishful thinking! |

We found a house! Carson now has his own bedroom. I will get some pictures posted up here probably tomorrow. I am so busy now with finding boxes, writing letters and trying to keep up with the whole process! I'll create a page that gives details. Clint is in the process of hunting down "I owe you's" on moving...so if he's helped you move in the last 5 years, expect a call! I am beginning to pack the small boxes and he's going to hire movers to get the big stuff so this move won't be that bad. I'll try to get more done tomorrow on here. |

Doing great today! I had a bit of a scare this morning. I was cleaning up my desk and had to move some boxes to storage. They only weighed about 20-25 lbs. each and I didn't strain when carrying them. After I cleared everything out, I started getting small cramps which worried me. I guess I'm not bionic woman anymore! I have been sitting since and they've gone away. I ran downstairs and walked through the mall for a bit and everything still seems fine. I guess that was Carson's way of saying "take it easy mom!" Packing is coming along slowly but surely. I have close to 10 boxes packed and probably hundreds more to go! It's not as bad as what I thought because I've been spreading it out a lot...doing a few boxes a night. If you haven't seen our house yet, you can visit the webpage I created. It's not finished yet, but it does have a few pictures. You can see it here. |

We are 6 months along today! I can't believe I'm this far in my pregnancy! It sure doesn't take as long as it seems. Carson is doing well. I sure didn't feel well last night, but I think it was due to all the packing I did yesterday. I was so exhausted that I was in bed by 8:00. You should have seen me this morning...I rounded up all the papers I could find. I know it's awful, but I need some wrapping paper! I've just about decided to buy a Sunday paper out of the machine this Sunday and take all that are in there. That will just about cover me. Is this being too tacky?! Clint had an appointment with the house inspector last night. He said that our house was in REALLY good shape with nothing major wrong. The only things that he did find were minor, including a leaky faucet out back and a broken shower head, but that stuff is replaceable. We are scheduled to move out in two weeks. Once we get set up in the house, we're having a house-warming party. If anyone would like to come please let us know and we'll give you details! |

Unfortunately, I lost my great-grandfather this weekend. I am going to be out of town from Tuesday until late this week. I'll try to update things when I get back. This weekend was wonderful as I had all the time in the world to pack. I've really got things going now. As I was taking pictures off of the wall Saturday, I noticed we had mold in our air conditioning vents. I'm hoping it's nothing bad, but I have noticed an increase in allergy problems here lately. I'm guessing this has something to do with it. I had a great dream this weekend! I dreamed that we had Carson already and it was over a span of two years through his life. I remember yelling at him when he was 2 because he was out playing in the mud in his good clothes. I guess our dreams get us ready for this stuff! Oh, I forgot to say that in my dream, when they delivered Carson, they noticed he had a twin. That part really scared me! |
