| Now, on to my Rurouni Kenshin Info! R. Kenshin is an anime about a samurai in the days of the Japanese Meiji Era. Kenshin Himura, who obviously is the main character, was the legendary "Hitokiri Battowsai", who mysteriosly disappeared. The story starts with Kenshin walking down the streets of Tokyo. Suddenly a girl, Kaoru Kamiya (If you know this show and find any mis-spelling of names, please notify me via Guestbook) starts chasing him with a wooden budo sword. She accuses him of being the Hitokiri "disgrasing the name of the Kamiya Dojo" they then hear someone claiming to be the Hitokiri and threatening people. Kaoru runs toward him and almost gets killed, but Kenshin dived in and saved her. Kenshin is now a rurouni (wandering swordsman), who only uses a sakaba sword (sword with a reversed blade) to protect people, and dosen't kill. |
