A Week in the Life of Tammy: Daughter, Aunt and "head" of the herd
Thought I'd use this page for general updates.  Don't get to talk to the whole family every week and with the time differences, it's hard to match schedules.  So, in an attempt to keep in touch I'll just put down the most significant events of the week here.

Eerie how this year is starting out so similar to last.  Hopefully I find a new job much faster this time.  Two interviews in two days, so at least I have reason to have hope.

It's extremely cold here, rarely above 20 every day and by the time I come home from walking him at night I'm frozen solid.  I'm going to do the smart thing and not walk him tonight and he'll just have to suffer until tomorrow.  It's simply to cold and to dangerous to do four miles in this weather.

I'm trying to keep my spirits up and not panic.  I have faith but it's hard being so alone.  Dating is so amazingly complicated.
Well I've met Mr. Right finally! :-)  It's amazing the packages God wraps up and delivers to you sometimes.  Mr. Right doesn't met any of the qualifications I had on my "list" and yet there's no question he's the man I was supposed to end up with.

Dave is pretty much my exact opposite in every respect.  He isn't a reader, he isn't a college graduate, he isn't Catholic, and he isn't conservative.  He however makes me feel like a princess.  He treats me with respect.  He knows what I need, sometimes before I do.  He is intelligent, loving, funny, and gentle.  He isn't what anyone would expect me to end up with but when my friends and family met him they will understand.

Job hunt is slow.  I have an offer pending but it's on hold until they get authorization.  They are working the issue and hopefully the job will break free very soon.  Oracle should be making a decision shortly and I'm very hopeful that it will result in an offer.  Oracle would be a much better job choice for me, so I'm praying it comes through like I hope.
