RUSSIAN PORCELAIN VASE ON PEDESTAL (POPOV)
with blue impressed mark. (1850) 19-th century.
The campana shaped vase profusely painted with
rich spring bouqutes within gilt scroll reserves,
against sky blue ground, on burnished ribbon-tied
acanthus spreading base and applied with similar
scroll handles, the inner rim enriched with gilt
scrolls and festoons, on raised square plinth
similarly decorated; on further gilt acanthus
capped scroll feet enriched with a shell motif.
Height is 39.3 cm.
