One of the most important things to me is friendship..(if you haven't noticed by looking at the rest of this site.)This page is dedicated to my best friends in the whole world. They were a constant support to me in high school in Ottawa, and continue to keep me going even though there's half a country between us. |

I didn't meet Allan until my third year of high school because he was two grades below me. He's a percussionist, and I met him one day in the band room. He is a very kind person, who although isn't the sharpest at times (what Allan...what??), always has everyone's best interests in mind. He cares about everyone, and is one of the nicest people I know. If I planned a party, he was always the first to RSVP and the last one to leave :-). Thanks Al, you're a great friend. |

Nielle was one of the friends that I've known the longest. She and I met eachother in middle school (gr.7) and we have been friends since. We played together in the school band as the two french horn players. As we both have red hair, people were continually mixing us up. We have many memories of band trips and silly inside jokes. "This one time..at band camp.." tee hee.. |

I actually met David back in middle school. He was a grade lower than me, so we didn't really get to know eachother until sometime into high school. He was a tuba player in the concert band and played guitar in other bands, and I got to know him through my other friend Matt. We played many memorable tennis games (my racket head is bigger than yours!) and we watched Austin Powers, like, a hundred times. Dave was a constant source of amusement for me, and he continues to be even with the distance between us. Dave, you're the man. |

I actually became friends with Mara through Nielle. I met her in grade nine, and we soon found that we had a lot in common. She is a very accomplished piano player and singer and she loves music as much as I do.. She was one of the directors of the school's musical last year "Man of La Mancha", a musical that she and I saw together with one of the many musical groups that we were involved in together. She's an awesome friend, and we have many inside jokes..heh heh.."Mara!!! My roots are showing!" |

I met Steve at a summer leadership camp, and we've been best friends ever since. He's a percussionist and last time I checked he was in a band. He's a great guy, and he was always there when I needed a laugh or a hug. He taught me the true meaning of "J" walking and the importance of Nestea in one's diet. Thanks a bunch Steve. |

Matt lived just around the corner from my old house, as did David, and we got to know eachother on the brief bus ride to school each day. He was a trumpet player in the band (do we notice a pattern here) and he has one of the most amazing young tenor voices I've ever heard. He was a constant source of annoyance and amusement to me and I will never forget the long talks we shared and the fun moments we had. He was the first guy I ever loved, and even though he didn't share those feelings, we still had a great friendship that lasted through the good times and bad. I'll never forget you, Matt. (aww..how sappy can ya get..heh) |

The person that probably knows the most about me, however, is my friend Mike. I met him at a dance in grade nine, and we've been corresponding through letters since then. I've only really seen Mike a few times, so it's kind of strange that we have such a good relationship. He's one of my best friends, and he is always there for me when I need him. Even if he does live all the way in Halifax. |
