The alliance system if fairly simple to follow. If one kingdom/empire has allies, then they are able to use them so long as they are willing to abide by the rules of T.A.M.C.S. If they are not willing to participate in the system, then they may not participate in the war. It is that simple. Allies are generally their own kingdom or empire with their own rulers and army. This means that if their side loses in the war, then they are most likely next on the list to have war declared on them. So if the Kingdom of Doe loses the war but brought their friend, the Kingdom of Jane, that means that the Kingdom of John will next declare war on the Kingdom of Jane if they want. Just because Doe lost doesn't mean that Jane loses her kingdom as well.

The allies of the Kingdom of John, who won, will obviously be given a share of the spoils of war. If the Kingdom of John decides not to give them a share of their spoils, then their allies may revoke their alliance and declare war on John.

To make an alliance is fairly simple. Draw up all the rules and regulations you want your allies to abide by and make that apart of your diplomacy section. Allies will then be bound to those rules and regulations. Violation of them will result in your ability to declare war on them. Allies may choose not to participate in your war but if it was apart of the formal agreement that they would help you, you may declare war on them for violating a treaty.
