The Kingdom of Doe and the Kingdom of John are now officially at war. The Kingdom of John has set the first battle for February 3rd at 5:00 PM (EST) in the private room, "Battlefield." When this time arrives, each side is to bring in which ever soldiers they will be using in terms of player characters. If the room fills up, you may start a second room which will also follow the battle. Doing this is often tough though and may require the use of starting one room on regular AOL as well as a second room on AIM in which both sides can post.

The Battles take place as such. The side which has declared war, the Kingdom of John, has the right to post first no matter what. The leader of John will usually make his first post that of how his army is organized. Then the leader of Doe may post how his army is organized. The leader of John will post again as well as all members of his army (generally just following orders). The leader of Doe will then post and all of his members.

From here on out it is in this order. The leader of John posts as well as his soldier then the leader of Doe with his men. The battle continues on like this. But by now you are asking, what determines victory? The victory is simply determined by who has the most player characters in the room (or rooms if necessary) by the time that the person who has declared war finishes his first post. NPCs make no difference as the Kingdom of John may have 500,000 NPC soldiers but the Kingdom of Doe will have 1,000,000. The fact is that the Kingdom of John has more Fighting Spirit due to the more people on his side showing up.

Individual Combat is something left up to those in your army. They may choose to fight NPCs or other Player Characters (PCs). If they choose to fight other PCs then the individual combat cannot result in death unless until 5 straight hits have been delivered to the foe. We will now use the example of Alexander (Soldier of John) against Gracchus (Soldier of Doe). Alexander has had the priveledge of the first strike against Gracchus. Gracchus now has one hit on him out of five. Gracchus returns the favor. Another PC Soldier of John strikes Gracchus with his dagger. Gracchus now has 2 out of 5 while Alexander only has one out of five. Alexander strikes him again and now 3, Gracchus wastes his hit on the man who stabbed him with the dagger. Alexander strikes again and it is 4 out of 5. Eventually Gracchus is killed by Alexander with a total of five strikes. Gracchus can no longer post in battle as he is dead. Resurrection is a decision for the leader that declared war. He may deny all dead resurrection or accept resurrection for all after the battle is over. Resurrection may not be done during battle.
Healing is acceptable during battle though. A soldier may leave the front lines to go to a healer and have only 1 point restored. So if Alexander returns with 4 hit points out of five, he will be reduced to 3 out of 5. Healing may occur only once during battle.

Primary Leaders may not be killed in battle. You may stab, wound or beat on the primary leaders of each side but you may not kill them. It is for the simple reason that they must run the entire battle and continue to post commands during it. Only at the end of the battle may the primary leader be killed if his side has lost. If the primary leader of the Kingdom of Doe has lost, he and the leader of the Kingdom of John will face off. The leader of John will have first strike and eventually result in the death of the leader of Doe (5 hit points to each leader at the end of battle).

Storyline Adaptation is allowed. If you do not want your war to end in one battle, you may have continous battles where the leader does not die at the end. Storyline Adaptation is usually predetermined battles with predetermined victors.
