He was born on 07.th June 1947 in Karþýyaka Izmir Turkey. He completed the primary and secondary schooling in Izmir. After having graduated from the Faculty of Communication in Ankara, he has got the PhD from Free University of Berlin. He learnd German in Germany, English in Hull University,England and French in Paris. He worked as a lecturer at Ege University.

In the Year 1987 he has been authorized as a professional tourst guide by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and he worked in different regions of Turkey as tourist guide.
