It takes a little time is what they say.

But it takes a little time for love anyway.

It'll take a little time to change my ways.

I seem confused but to me that's an average day.

I still wake up with a frown on my face.

Like an unhappy clown with a sad, sad face.

Still haven't found someone to take your place.

I seem alone but to me that's an average day.

But oh sometimes I feel so afraid.

To go on with the mistakes I've made.

Sometimes I wish I could let you know.

That it's harder to love, than to let you go.

When I was in love with you I had everything.

Until it all fell apart and I had nothing.

Used to fly high but now I have no wings.

I seem out of touch but to me that's an average day.

But oh sometimes I feel so afraid.

To go on with the mistakes I've made.

Sometimes I wish I could let you know.

That it's harder to love, than to let you go.
