My Lebaron Convertible
A '92 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible 3.0 SOHC V6, red with chrome/black details, I originally got this while my Daytona was down, I found the gent selling it online, went out to check it out. It had been sitting under a tree for a year because of a bad water pump and timing belt. Top was trashed and the odometer had about 154k on it, I had to tow it and didn't even know if there was more damage, so he agreed and it was towed home.
I did replace the timing belt and water pump, charged the battery and turned it over. It started right up! Awesome, so take it out for a test drive to get some gas put in it, it was about 12am, top down, wind in my hair, it was too good, then I heard this grinding in the front passenger side, dangit; bad spindle hub, $90 at advance auto and many hours replacing it.
From there things replaced are the tank, some fuel lines, had to replace the bypass hose next to the water pump. The top got replaced from a vanilla to a black one, misc trim parts all around, modified the reverse lights, the hood, battery, alternator, and rear shocks. Currently have 178k on the odometer.
I was recently up to Michigan to meet boostaholic from the www.turbododge.com forums and to pick up some 16" PT Cruiser Limited Edition rims, they are very nice, I'm still torn if I should put them on my Lebaron or to sell them. They look great, here are some pics of the rims on boostaholics ride before I bought them.
