Angel Sanctuary is becoming a very popular anime. This series is better known for its manga than it's OVA. So far the OVA only covers the first 4 books of the manga and leaves a lot of unanswered questions. The art was what drew me to this series. I was looking for desktop themes when I came across a beautiful picture of Rociel. After a little research I bought the DVD and own scans of the manga. If your looking for an anime that has a very interesting plot, then this is it. The story is based on angels, demons and humans. The story is so in-depth that it defines the angels and demons into ranks, explains the levels of heaven and hell and designs a story that has all of these beings fighting against each other. Angel Sanctuary contains one of the largest set of characters that I have seen in an anime in a while. Since there are so many characters I have decided to find a site out there that really went into detail about them. I have made a link below to what I believe is the best analysis of AS characters on the web.  I have also spent some time getting screen captures from the OVA.
