Welcome to my Princess Mononoke web page. Let me start off by saying what a great movie this is. When I got this video for my birthday I was sooo happy, because I had been staring at it in the video store for weeks hoping I would get it. I watched this movie as soon as I got it and I loved it. This anime was made by Hayao Miyazaki. I found out that this is the same guy who did Nausicaa: of valley of the wind. This gentleman did a super job with this film and I anticipate any of his future releases. This movie features an all star cast of voice actors: Minnie Driver(Return to me) does Lady Eboshi, Gillian Anderson(X-files) does Moro, Billy Bob Thorton(Armageddon) does Jigo, and Claire Danes(Romeo&Juliet) does Princess Mononoke.
Anyway, I'll give you a quick breakdown of Princess Mononoke. Its a story about a boy who gets infected with a curse. Ashitaka seeks to rid himself of the curse and meets San the wolf girl. Later the boy travels to iron town, makes some friends, makes some enimes and helps San out. Of course you have some bad guys trying to kill a god, Eboshi,the woman who runs iron town helps them, and the boy is nearly killed. Finally a big war breaks out, lots of kodama die, and the boy and San are ..........
