Welcome to my Tennessee page.
I live in Knoxville and because this is my home (and I dearly love it here) I created this page.
Knoxville is
known for its beautiful dogwood trees. The Arts Festival is a yearly event that takes place in April.
How bout them Vols! Tennessee folks have always been
loyal UT fans. The University of Tennessee has two of the
best sports programs in the nation in both the men's Div. I football and women's Div. I basketball teams. The mens
basketball team is rockin also.
K-town has some great malls and shopping centers. Shop til ya drop! There's the museums and theatres and The Knoxville Zoo too.
If you are into fishing or camping then there's great places around Knoxville for both. I know I'm ready! You can never run out of things to do here.
For even more variety there's always Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains; all within an hours drive.
is open for business in Pigeon Forge and is great for family vacations. Pigeon Forge has awesome outlet stores and family entertainment. There are dinner theatres and waterparks and crafts stores, and camping, should I go on?
Gatlinburg has skiing and shopping. You can even get married at one of their wedding chapels (before you get cold feet and chicken out, "boom" its done). Spend a weekend or a honeymoon in those romantic challias.
Give me the Smoky Mountains and I'm in heaven. If you are a nature lover it doesn't get any better than this.
So I havent covered all of Tennessee (just Knoxville and some of the surrounding area) but Tennessee is a
wonderful place to live, play, and raise a family.
Check out Glenn & Peggy's "Rollin On The River" site for a peek at The Tennessee River! ( great photos )
