ACADEMY OF ART COLLEGE : SMALL VEHICLE CLASS-VOLKSWAGEN 50cc SCOOTER

e> This is a school project at the Academy of Art College. It was a time when VW NewBeetle was released. Then I came up with the concept "what if the NewBeetle has a little brother : a scooter?" My design significantly reflects the NewBeetle's unique curve. With the scooter, I guaranteed you can enjoy riding in the city.

j> これは大学時代の作品です。当時VWのNewBeetleが発売された頃でした。そこでコンセプトは"little brother of NewBeetle"としてデザインを進めて行きました。当初、車はカブト虫なのでスクーターもなにか昆虫または動物をテーマに考えていました。しかし、最終的にはNewBeetleの特徴ある曲線をデザインに取り入れて"VW language"を継承させました。街乗りスクーターの楽しさが２倍、３倍になるデザインが出来たと思います。
