"Mandie" interrupted her show career in the U.S.A.
(already major pointed) to join us in New Zealand.
Her winning in New Zealand commenced immediately
and saw her gain her required 8 Challenge Certificates
for her N.Z. title in 9 shows
(beaten once along the way by her kennel companion "Sophie").

During her N.Z. campaign, Mandie was a
Multiple Best in Group (Group 1st) winner and Runner Up in Show winner.
She won 3 Spaniel Specialty Best in Shows and
Best of Breed at the Pal National and Southern Classic shows.

Her arrival in Australia and commencement of a limited show career
was highlighted by an All Breeds Best In Show,
followed by Best Exhibit in Group at the 1995 Sydney Royal Easter Show
(Australia's 2nd largest All Breeds Show)
under Mr. Phillip John (India) defeating almost 1,000 dogs.
This was the only time a Springer Bitch had taken this award at this show,
and Mandie joins the elite group of only 3 Springer bitches
to have ever won Best in Group at a Royal Show in Australia.

Mandie's contribution to the Tanalith Springers cannot be understated
and to date she has produced 3 Champion Best in Group winning progeny
(one a multiple Best In Show winner) with many more pointed.
