You should all appreciate the lengths I go to to get these stories. I mean which of YOU wants to sit there and chance a meeting with Maurice? hmm? Besides Patrick... We ARE supposed to get SOMETHING besides a fight out of this after all.

I have lived for the day that vengeance will be mine
And this is the day that vengeance will be mine
-Cecilia Eng

I have no idea why I'm granting this interview, but I did say that I would and I try to keep my word as much as possible. I was born in Tandraia over 500 years ago. However, because of a small fluke in the time stream, I was aged another 500 years about 3 years ago. And so I have the powers and abilities of a vampire that has lived over a millenium. I have one sibling, a sister named Gabrielle. She is a younger sister who has a tendency to get into rather a large amount of trouble. She's been that way her entire life.

As I was saying, I am originally from Tandraia. In the southern part, near the coast of the Corasian Sea. My father was a strict man, my mother very submissive to him. That is how they were brought up and thus that is how they were. However, there were times that my father did have his mood lightened a bit and that was when his gypsy friends paid a visit. His family had long been friends with the gypsies and our ties to them seem to be there even to this day. In fact, it was arranged that I should marry one of those gypsies. This I was more than happy to do, she and I were.. close. We were to be married a year after the arrangement, during which time they would be out roaming about as was their wont.

We waited that year and as the time came and passed for them to arrive, we became more worried. Finally, after three days had passed after the day they were due, what remained of their caravan showed up. They had apparently been ambushed by a rival band of gypsies that tended toward evil. Most of them had either been killed or captured. Our village rounded up as many people as they could in an attempt to rescue those that were still alive. We managed to get there and rescue some, however most were lost. Including Anya. We returned to the village with those we had managed to save. However, I could not bear to stay around the village and so I set off, Anya's brother Andre by my side. We were very close friends and decided to stick together through it all.

We traveled together for some time, getting into and out of trouble as the situation warranted. However, the rival band of gypsies was not satisfied with the damage they had caused and decided to focus on Andre and myself, considering me to be as big an enemy as were the gypsies. They had one of their women lure me one night when I was less than cognizant of my surroundings and she proceeded to turn me into what I am today. Andre managed to get there after the deed had been done, saving me at least from being dragged off. He took me to a secluded place and took care of me there. He made sure in the ensuing time that I was fed without risk of killing anyone and I actually managed to retain my good outlook for some time. However, unbeknownst to me, they had also sent someone after my sister and done the same to her. She did not manage to retain this goodness. I did not discover this for some time.

The time came eventually that Andre fell in love and married. His wife completely understood his friendship for me and accepted what he went through to help me. However, after they had been married for a year or so, our enemies showed up at their house. I managed to get there in time to save Andre's twin children, but he and his wife were not so lucky. I delivered the children to his tribe and set out on my own. Not long after that, my soul became darkened and I ended up eventually with my current outlook.

I shall skip over most of the time in between then and now, mentioning only that Gabrielle and I met up a couple of years later and began to travel together. Recent events found me becoming the high priest of Angelique and the first and most powerful of the Greater Vampires. My goals and feelings are mine to keep silent about as I see fit. However, there are those that will in the near future be experiencing those goals and feelings. Rather unpleasantly, I might add. And at that, this interview is ended.
