"Let's go to Japan!" Lieje was positively hopping with exuberance. "There's a plane leaving in an hour, and the last two tickets are 20% off!"

"Hmwuh?" A single, grey-brown ear twitched as Jumathos blinked sleepily. He looked at his patchwork friend in glazed, sleep-induced confusion, then, abruptly, his expression cleared. "Lieje, what are you talking about? It's 3 am! Go back to bed!"

The stubborn eccentric refused to give up his cause. "I know it's 3 am -- that's why the tickets are so cheap! Come on, haven't you ever wanted to see Japan?"

"No. I haven't. Especially not when I'd have to leave 4 hours before the sun came up! Go back to sleep, Lieje."

"You know what? You have absolutely no sense of adventure." Lieje eyed Jumathos with one, white-irised orb.

"Yeah, but at least I have a sense of sleep. Go away." Jumathos turned over, presenting a large, hairy behind to the half-breed Creation's face.

Lieje turned away, as well. "Fine. I'll just go without you, then!"

"You doowat." Came the blanket-muffled reply.

The manic Amuni stalked out of the store room, shaking his vibrantly green mane to get rid of the thick dust. That Jumathos, never wanting to go out on a limb and try new things. You'd think he'd be content to simply sleep under that blanket forever! Maybe it was because he was a Euclides. Lieje almost felt sorry for him -- condemned to a life of unenlightenment since the moment he was born. The poor thing.

Ah, well. No changing that, now. Jumathos would be Jumathos -- the same party pooper that he'd always been. Lieje couldn't take too much time to convince him. He would just have to miss out on all the fun...

Lieje broke into a quick jog, prancing through the streets like he owned the place. Indeed, he had traveled by night many times before. This time, though, speed was of the essence.

After all, he had a plane to catch.
