She needed a clan that she could depend on as allies always, and one that could essentially...be her footsoldiers in whatever endevors she would need one for. She searched high and low for the most powerful warrior type akwanza she could find, killing those to weak to be left alive, and being left with 4 powerful warriors, (two of whom are even part of her bloodline). She named them the Avenger Clan, not so much because they would seek vengeance against a great evil, but so they could avenge her when she saw fit, and to carry on her legacy if (god forbid) she was to expire. No member of this clan dare appose her, not even the alpha. No one knows exactly why such powerful looking akwanza could be afraid of such a modest looking akwanza like Sang, but whatever the reason...it can't be good. Asabi is the alpha female of the Avenger Clan, and is a very good warrior. Not only is she clever, but she is very very very strong. She knows how to use her double wings as both a sheild and a weapon (as they are tipped on the upper part by dark flame). She can use them to 'lift' herself off the ground about 2 feet and glide for about half a mile, but she can't fly with them. Her second pair of wings as well as her weight make it VERY hard to do even that, let alone flying. Her second pair of wings are sort of a debilitating mutation, and are really just there for show. Her flame like hair, is actually hair, but each strand is like blue hot flame (the hottest part of the flame). She cannot control her flames to much, they don't burn her, but the only way to weild them is if she swishes her tail and swings her neck. Nevertheless, she is a formidible apponant. She has a deep fear of Sang, though the reason for this is unknown, and she will severly injure anyone who so dares ask. Akwanza are made by Arielle. .: Why grandma, what big teeth you have :. Asabi was born as part of an extensive, secret breeding scheme, conducted by scientists from southwestern China. Not even Sang, let alone Asabi herself, knows about this. There has been an international plot, ever since the magical properties of akwanza were discovered, to create an omnipowerful alpha by way of selective mating. This alpha, and others like her, would then be used as an unstoppable weapon, helping to conquer all of Europe and Asia, a move that would eventually lead to world domination. However, Asabi was born flawed -- with a dibilitating second set of wings -- so even though she was very strong, she was released back into the African bush, in order to avoid perpetuation of the bad genes. She was too young to remember any of this, and so she lives without an inkling of the vast international scheme that once revolved around her.
