He is, indeed, shy; Mol is a recluse, hiding in caves and abandoned buildings by day, and coming out to forage only at night. A calm, serene personality is also his to claim -- he hardly ever talks, is extremely intelligent, seldom reacts with more than a minimal amount of energy, and tends to spend most of his free time sitting somewhere quiet and pondering to himself.
