Gungans are quite tall, 1.9 meters on average, and they have strong
leg muscles and large four fingered fin like hands to help them swim.
The Gungan skeletan is made of a cartilaginous material, comparable to
a shark's. This allows for further advange in swimming, increased
resiliance, and flexability.
Since Jar Jar changes from a lighter red/orange color to the darker
brown mature Gungan color between Episode I and II it can be inferred
that said change happens in Gungans between 20 and 30 years of age.
What is unknown is whether Jar Jar will eventually become short, fat
and green like Boss Nass, or if this is actually a "different type" of
Gungan.
