Try to control the uncontrollable
as the substance controls you
Sleep away the days
but continue to fear age
Laugh at your own misery
and continue to cry inside
Dream a false reality
while killing your pride
Try to fill the void
and push all love away
Let your emotions run wild
as your mind goes to waste
Fuck them all
and believe your own lies
Pour salt into your wounds
and continue to pass time
Lust after the illusion
and believe it's all a game
Love and hate
to you it's all the same
Flirt with Mr. Death, as you play with suicide
Be afraid of yourself
as you choke on life
