The only requirement to be a full member of VAHA is that current dues are paid and a current membership application is on file. Membership is open to any person regardless of age, race, religious ideology, or gender. The yearly membership dues are $35.00 per family. You DO NOT need to be a paid member to attend monthly meetings or field trips. If you would like to become a full member, your membership entitles you to a monthly newsletter, member contact list, and voting privileges. You can pick up a registration form from either the current treasurer or download the PDF version of the VAHA 2004-2005 Registration form and hand it in at one of the monthly meetings.
Adobe Acrobat® Reader is required; click for the FREE Acrobat Reader program download

You know you're a homeschooler when....
You try to (quickly) capture the huge bee that was knocked unconscious as it accidentally flew into your car window, so the kids can classify and inspect it.
You've got more books than bookcases (stacked in "organized" piles), and more bookcases than anyone you know.
You DREAM of a room with wall to wall, ceiling to floor bookshelves.
The walls of your dining room are decorated with posters of the US Presidents, Periodic Table of Elements, Map of the Moon, Spanish Conjugation Chart and a copy of the Declaration of Independence
You have children draped all over the furniture....and they are reading...for the fun of it!
While driving through town you realize that you've been on a field trip to just about every other building you pass!
You're actually happy to find a mystery container in the back of the refrigerator with a wonderful growth of bacteria...."Get the microscope!"
