Sovereign Hill was nice too....even though it is quite dusty and some places stink of horse-shit smell! Haha. But it is my first time visiting a gold-mining place...and i find it to be quite a fascinating place. We actually went down to the mining shaft and learned 'bout how the ppl in the olden days actually mine the goal and quartz (erm, how do u spell it?). An average shaft is about 800 - 1000 metres deep. It is below Ballarat's water level and they use steam pump to pump out the water b4 they could actually get down the shaft!
I bought this cute poster from one of the many different shops there called Ballarat Times. Check it out (click for larger view)! :)
Gwen...welcome :)

Soo Huey and her bf Wang Wei came down to Melbourne all the way from Gippsland yest. I went to watched theatre - Marostica Chess Game with them at Vodafone Arena. It was a nice experience watching the Italian history come to life wiv human-size chess pieces on a gigantic chess board! But then the whole show was not in English, it was in "Serenssima Republic of Vanezia" dialect!!! hahaha...we dont understand a single word but there were translations on most parts of the show. After the show, we went to Shark Fin's Inn at Chinatown to have our late dinner. ;)

We rented van and drove to Mornington Peninsular today. There were 12 of us - Tarr Phai, Jonathan, Debbie, Seow Wei, Suki, Yit Fung, Ee Lyn, Adrian, Ndru, June, Joey and me. We visited several places. Wanted to visit Lavendar and Rose farm but it was closed for today. We at last visited Arthurs Seat and Maze, Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, and a most incedible and beautiful beach, and also sunset watching.

I juz reached home not long ago and I am very tired. My feet hurt from walking on the sand for too long. Furthermore, i slept for only a few hours for the past few days. However, I enjoyed today very much and I'm looking forward to our trip to Sovereign Hill, Ballarat tomorrow! *smiles* :)

I went to Southland's Westfield Shopping Centre juz now. I was in a shopping mood and took the one hour bus journey there alone! But it was worth it as I really enjoyed myself there! It has been so long since i last went there and i had fun shopping ;>
Had Red Rooster juz now for dinner. It is not my favourite fast food but the outlet is juz at the junction outside our hse.I juz saw the sign which read '...the tastiest chicken...' which i sincerely doubt it. It is damn salty most of the time. However, I know I'm gonna miss eating Red Rooster when I go back Penang, especially it's Strip Sub and Flayva!
Take care Wen....safe journey! *hugz*

Sorry for not updating my blog! I was not at home for the past few days...stayed over at Camberwell at my fren's hse. I had lotsa fun there...playing mahjong and juz chit-chatting. There was one nite when Seow Wei & I slept at 9am in the morning! ;P I made a new fren there by the name of Jonathan Chua. He is a funny n nice guy ;)
We went to St. Kilda for coffee two nites ago and the following morning, I went out with Jasmine and Sue Mei to Richmond. But the weather was freaking hot and we didnt enjoy ourselves. The heat made me no mood even to shop!
Yesterday, I met up with Alvin and both of us took the tram to city to meet up with his bro Jimmy and Bee Shin. Alex and Patrick were there too. We had Japanese and later had coffee at Lygon St.
Oh ya....HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROSTIE *hugz*

There were no performances as i thought there would be. 80% were ang mohs and
