Tanya and the family's pet possum (called 'Poss') at Auntie Pam's after a BBQ, on 2 November 1985. Poss remained a friendly 'wild' pet for a couple of years until, with her own baby aboard, she made the mistake of falling asleep in a visitor's car. When they discovered she was there several kilometres later, they had to let her out the door for the sake of their own health and wellbeing, and we never saw her again - despite trapping the area and getting the SPCA to advertise for her. Perhaps the only time they advertised for a missing noxious animal.
