Memorial to Tanya Burr, killed 15 September 2002
Contiki European Encounter trip 25 August 2002 - 9 September 2002
The following photos have been donated by other passengers on Tanya's trip
Tanya at right closest to camera, at St. Goar, Germany. Contributed by Sean Ryan of Australia. Sean was the first to discover that Tanya was dead. He read an article on her murder in the TNT magazine in London. This magazine is produced to give Kiwis, Aussies and South Africans news from home. He first didn't realise he knew the victim, and suddenly realised when reading it a second time. He then advised the other passengers by email on 23 September and on 1 October another passenger, Lindsey Jackson of the US, traced a contact point to me via a net search on Tanya's name.
Marcia Hickey of the United States, who was on the Contiki trip, sent me this photo as it included Tanya. It was taken in a cafe in Switzerland on about 29-30 September. From left are Tanya, Jordan, Marcia and Sonia.
