The limitations of the study are as follows:

1.) Each of the four (4) Focus Group Discussions included the top seven officers from the Communication-related organizations of four (4) randomly selected colleges and universities in Metro Manila. Note: Number of FGDs and participants are in accordance with Departmental standards.

2.) Sudden unavailability of an officer, or an organizational executive board that numbered less than seven, prompted researchers to recruit a next available officer (of lower rank) or officers from other available Communication-related organizations.

3.) Predominance of female officers in a co-educational university organization.

4.) The study did not intent to develop in the youth, an appreciation of the value of suffrage inasmuch as this could be the subject of another thesis.

5.) The study was limited to exploring leadership traits that are considered ideal. It did not involve any detailed character study of leaders.

6.) The findings solely represent the opinions and comments of the FGD participants.
