The Green Invaders

The first person who'd seen the Green Invaders was Police Officer Jed Turner. But it must be told, that the 6'3'' tall, good-looking black officer hadn't realized at that time that he was the eye-witness of the beginning of an alien invasion. All he saw, were two people fucking in Central Park. And that was nothing unusual in New York.
Sure, the two individuals were green. And they had short, ringed horns and a sharp bone-crest on their bald heads. And a long tail with a sting on its end. And only three fingers with claws. And one of them - obviously the female - had four breasts. On the other hand, the handsome black officer had seen things in his twenty-year-long career as a policeman, which were much stranger than two naked, green aliens making love in the rain. He was grown up in Harlem.
So he hadn't reported the incident, thinking, that he just had seen another two fethishists by playing their perverse little games and went home to his wife because the sight inspired him to a nice little play for himself.
So the invasion could begin without resistance. The female Invader was able to lay her eggs undisturbed and the little green maggots hatched out within seventeen days. They fed on the rubbish heaps of New York, got fat with what we consider being just litter and spun a cocoon on the thrity-first day.
Two months later they were all over New York. Officer Turner and his wife had been eaten on the seventy-fifth day. Four months after he'd seen the two "fetishists" at Central Park, there were no people left in New York. The Green Invaders moved into the deserted houses and hibernated, because the weather was getting colder, and there were no people to get the central heating working. Fortunately, they weren't used to such cold climates. When temperatures about -40 Degrees Celsius came and air-conditioning in the huge buildings broke down, the Green Invaders simply froze to death or suffocated.
This didn't help the citizens of New York, who were eaten by the aliens, of course. But if they'd started a war against the Green Invaders, that wouldn't have helped them, either. At least, the Invaders were sentient. Whether the citizens of New York were sentient or not, that is a question without a satisfying answer. Then: how sentient can somebody be, who sees a pair of aliens procreate in front of his house-door and thinks, this is nothing unusual?
Experts of the NASA have been investigating the dead bodies of the Green Invaders ever since then. They still have no idea, what kind of being they were, where they came from and how they managed to land on Earth unnoticed. Some of them believe, the Invaders came by UFOs. Others are shure, they have always lived somewhere on Earth, although unknown. But all of them agree on one thing:
THEY'LL BE BACK
And when they come - what are we supposed to do?
The End
