Forgotten Roots * (during summer break in 1999 -- a prelude to the whole series) - Worried about the increasing power and greed of Cyrus, then-Prince of L.A., Julian Luna sends his Gangrel bodyguard, Cash, to look around. Cash runs into his Clan brethren and meets (for the first time) his grand-Sire, Madame Zorza, who tells him the story of their bloodline and some about the prophecies concerning Angel. Note: contains a made-up bloodline for Cash.
Raven: Embraced (during summer break in 2000, so she has the time to blackmail herself into the position of the Whip of Toreador Primogen Victor Girard) - A few months after her disastrous encounter with Angel, Rebecca Lowell gets Embraced into Clan Toreador by her long-time personal assistant, Lorena, who's actually a 7th generation Anarch, thought to be dead for decades.
A Visit From the Dark Master *p (during 'Buffy vs Dracula', the Buffy 5th season opener) - Practically a re-write of the episode, from Spike's point of view, revealing the true identity of the creature who posed as Dracula in Sunnydale.
Homecoming (during 'Carpe Noctem' in Angel's 3rd season) - Amy Madison gets Embraced into Clan Tremere by Lady Abigail and becomes an apprentice of the Sisters of Greznich. See: To Shanshu in L.A.
Harmony * (during 'Billy' in Angel's 3rd season) - Harmony, who's naively joined Darla's Antediluvian Cult and was captured after the big battle, gets adopted by Drusilla who saves her from destruction. See: To Shanshu in L.A.
Resurrection (instead of 'Fredless' in Angel's 3rd season) - The body of the presumably dead Derek Rayne is detected under the ruins of the San Francisco Legacy House. He seems to have spent the last couple of years in some sort of limbo, a preternatural coma, without any change. Wesley calls in Lady Abigail, who performs a powerful thaumaturgical rite to free his soul from the interdimensional trap. See: To Shanshu in L.A.
Counterparts (starts during 'Billy' in Angel's 3rd season) - Angel's Seneschal (Spike) and Enforcer (Faith) establish a permanent relationship. See: The Prince of the City of Angels
The Sacrifice *p (Part 1 during 'Never Kill a Boy On the First DAte' in Buffy's 1st season, Part 2 during 'Heartthrob' in Angel's 3rd season and continuing) - The story of Owen Thurman: his short affair with Buffy, his almost-death at the hand of the Setites (how he1s got himself into the whole mess), his Embrace by Angel in order to save his life, his long and brutal Becoming due his condition, his friendship with Riley and Forrest.
