This is a very cute movie. I have the Disney release. Apparently it's been shortened, and changed somewhat from the actual version. I'd love to see the original.
I really really love Kiki's Delivery Service. The animation is good, and the backgrounds are very nice. There is some of the storyline which comes across as very forced, especially among the main character and basically everyone she comes into contact with. There seems to be a large lack of indication of passage of time, so this could account for it. I always think of it all happening over the course of two or three days, but that seems a little fast for everything.
I give it a 3 of 5, it would get more, but the story is a little too forced.
