Notes and Comments
1. This is one of the few versions of the play which has a "Dandini".
2. Prince Charming, apparently, has no living parents. In many other versions there is a king and/or Queen that presure him to get married.
3. The character Buttons in some versions is called Billy.
4. Here Cinderella's farther does not die. In traditional versions it is his death which prompts the Stepmother to hate Cinderella with such zeal.
Inconsistencies
1. The Ball at Castle Glamourous to which, according to Dandini, everyone is invited still needs a ticket to get in. Why? If everyone is invited?
2. This continues when Dandini's way of getting rid of the Ugly Sisters is run a check of anyone who doesn't have an invite. Why? Everyone's invited.
3. Ammer and Tongs say that they will return to Stoney-Broke mansion to forclose it while everyone is at the ball. However during the ball Aspyxia and Euthanasia grab them and say they were in the palace gardens.
