Therefore, intuition, instinct, emotions are so important for me.
Performance is my presence.
Performance is my perception of the present.
Performance is my open and hidden needs.
Performance is a strategy towards myself and towards the object.

In my performances I try to deal with the problems of passing time, freedom, loneliness. I try to touch upon the everyday life, this spent at home, closed within the four walls, as well as the life created by the media, where there are no clear rules on how to distinguish the truth from the fiction."

Following training at the Academy of Fine Art & Education Czestochowa, Poland, Ewa Swidzinska has dedicated herself mainly to performance, and has worked extensively throughout Belarus, France, Latvia and Poland.
