Students in the health and fitness management program have worked for the National Dairy Council setting up a nutritional program for athletes and other active people; local school districts developing exercise/activity programs for handicapped students; nursing facilities creating exercise programs for the elderly; and in other facilities designing and implementing health and fitness programs. Athletic training majors are expected to complete 1,200 hours of clinical experience under Capital’s staff of certified athletic trainers.
